the train that never arrived

me ocurre a menudo, cuando visualizo algo que me gusta, ya sea con cámara o con mis ojos, que miles de reflexiones sacuden mi cabeza. pues bien, estas fotos son unas de las que hacen pensar. es cierto que hay trenes que pasan una sola vez en la vida? o visto de otra forma, los trenes pasan muy a menudo pero al subirnos y llevar un trayecto recorrido, nos damos cuenta que es el equivocado. hay veces que bajamos a tiempo y veces que continuamos aunque sea el equivocado porque nos encantó el paisaje y el viaje merece la pena.

it often happens to me that when I visualize something I like, either with camera or my eyes, that thousands of reflections shake my head. well, these photos are some of the thought-provoking. is it true that there are trains that pass once in your life? or put it in another way, the trains run very often but when we get on and keep a distance traveled, we realize that is the wrong one. Sometimes we get down on time and sometimes we continue even if it's wrong because we loved the scenery and the trip was worthwhile.

este pañuelo es el típico que cuando llega a tu armario dices -es para toda la vida. fue el regalo de mi primer día de la madre. es de la colección limitada de HERMES "la ruta de las especias" del 2009. Los colores son tan neutros que combina con cualquier prenda del armario, las formas que le puedo dar son infinitas dando el toque final al estilo que te apetezca llevar.

TRICK OF THE WEEKEND

sombrero adquirido en un mercadillo de un pueblo de ávila 10 euros, formar parte del proyecto paella en el que me involucré este domingo y con las vistas que nos regaló la terraza de la casa de mis amigos en ávila, no tiene precio, ya sabeis, para todo lo demás...master-c....Al contrario de lo que os comentaba la semana pasada, este finde fuí una de las ingenieras de paella en lugar del mirón de paella.

hat purchased at a flea market in a town of Ávila 10 euros, cook this Sunday paella with the views that gave us the terrace of the house of my friends in Avila, is priceless, you know, for everything else ... master-c .... ONE PINK ROSE

aquí está, look barbacoa primaveral. nunca he entendido el proceso necesario para preparar una barbacoa y mira que es simple y que llevo años organizando...porqué las barbacoas son siempre de carne?? y no hacemos pescado? porque en las barbacoas siempre trabajan los mismos y miran los mismos? porqué siempre está el "mirón de barbacoas" que siempre cree que el que cocina no sabe encender? porqué decimos que vamos a comer barbacoa si empezamos a las 4 de la tarde después de haber tomado x cervezas y el picoteo, si cuando llega el momento nadie puede comer mas? porque siempre se queda la carne quemada o cruda? porque siempre existe el que le cae la chispa al ojo? y una de las cuestiones eternas...que me pongo para hacer una barbacoa...en fin, es un acto social en el que se debería hacer un estudio antropo-psilógico de parte de los indivíduos que asisten a este tiop de celebraciones. Yo por si me tocaba trabajar, me puse de rosa palo (craso error) y con ropa de la temporada pasada (acierto). gracias por las botitas hermanita!!

here it is, look spring barbecue. I've never understood the process necessary to prepare a barbecue eventhough it is simple and that I have spent years organizing ... why they are allways meat barbecues? and do not fish? Why there always work the same and look the same? why always exists the "barbecue voyeur"who always believed that the cook does not know how to light up? why we say we're going to eat barbecue if we start at 4 pm after taking x beers and snacks, if when the time comes nobody can eat more? why it always gets burned or raw meat? why there is always that spark the eye drops? and one of the eternal questions ... what do I have to wear for a barbecue ...is a social act which should be psico-anthropologically studied on the part of some of the individuals who attend to this kind of celebrations. this is what i weared in the last one in case I had to work, I wore pale pink (big mistake) and last season's clothes (success). thanks for the booties sister!

Thanks God Spring Arrived

por fin parece que ha llegado, esta tarde justo cuando el techo de caja mágica se abría tras la victoria de nadal contra federer en la semifinal, llegaba la primavera a madrid. la tarde ha sido oscura, fría como hacía tiempo, en la zona vip no había mucho color...y cuando digo color lo digo en ambos sentidos. parecía como si la tormenta hubiese apagado el gusto, las ganas de vestir y de distinguir. pero el final del partido se iba acercando, nadal iba ganando y los primeros rayos de sol de la primavera han dado paso a la victoria del español. os dejo con una explosión floral para dar la bienvenida a esta tan ansiada estación.

it seems that spring finally arrived this afternoon just as the roof of magic box opened after the victory of Nadal against Federer in the semifinals, spring arrived to Madrid. The afternoon was dark, cold as the VIP area was not full of cool people... seemed as if the storm had turned off the taste, the desire to dress and distinction. but the final whistle drew closer, Nadal was winning and the first sunshine of spring gave way to the victory of Spanish. I leave you with a floral explosion to welcome this long-awaited season.

RED TRENCH-TATION

...y sigue sin parar de llover...y yo sin dejar de vestir un trench tras otro. este trench lo compré el año pasado en Bristol, fuimos mi amiga y yo durante unos días a recordar viejos tiempo en la ciudad y este pasó a formar parte de mi armario en una de las sesiones de compras que tuvimos en la ciudad. lo que distingue a este del resto es que además se puede utilizar como vestido, esto lo hace completo al 100%. el anillo y pulsera son de uterqüe y los pendientes de misako

NAVY TRENCH-TATION

por fin el verano anticipado ha dado tregua y ha dejado paso a la primavera para poder lucir esa maravillosa prenda comodín llamada por todas las editoriales de moda por el anglicismo trench y que a mi me encanta llamar gabardina. tengo varias que os iré enseñanado, en colores y formatos distintos. de esta me gusta todo, el tacto, los botones y hasta el forro que en las fotos no se puede ver, es de color coral y crema a rayas. la compré con mi hermana la primavera pasada...mejor dicho...compramos una cada una.
